1-to-1 Private Leadership Intensive

For leaders who are already good — and want a level of support that's built entirely around them.

This isn't a course. It's eight weeks, one-on-one, structured around your actual role, your actual team, and the specific challenges you're facing right now.

These aren't fixed timeframes — we spend as much or as little time in each phase as your situation actually calls for. Some clients need most of their eight weeks in one place; others move through all three.

Phase 1
Lead Self

We start with how you operate under pressure: your decision-making patterns, your communication style, where your instincts serve you and where they don't. This is the foundation everything else is built on.

Phase 2
Lead Others

We move into the harder parts of leading people — accountability, difficult conversations, building trust, coaching your team instead of managing them. Real scenarios from your actual team, worked through in real time.

Phase 3
Lead for Results

We close by translating all of it into execution — how you drive performance, lead up to your own leadership, and carry this forward without me in the room.

What you walk away with: Clearer decision-making under pressure. More confidence in the conversations you used to avoid. A team that trusts you more because you're leading with more intention. Not a framework you file away — a way of operating that's already yours by week eight.

Also included: Full access to the Leadership Accelerator's content, tools, and playbooks as reference material — plus direct access between sessions for the moments that can't wait a week.

Space is limited to a small number of clients at a time.

A message from Jake Allen

This is the part almost nobody teaches you.

What is a frontline leader?

You’re closer to the work—and often closer to the customer—than almost anyone above you.

Frontline leaders are the supervisors, team leads, foremen, shift managers, department managers, and other first-line leaders responsible for turning company expectations into actual results.

You’re leading the people serving customers, building products, delivering services, solving problems, and doing the work the organization ultimately gets judged on. That is a lot of responsibility to leave to trial and error.

48%

In Gallup's 2023 survey of U.S. workers, only 48% of managers strongly agreed they currently have the skills needed to be exceptional at their job.

If you feel like you’re figuring too much of leadership out on your own, you’re hardly the only one.

63%

In a Workplace Intelligence and INTOO survey, 63% of employees said they feel their employer cares more about their productivity than their career development.

Your employer has a business to run. You still have a career to build.

10%

LinkedIn data found that professionals who listed leadership among their skills were promoted about 10% faster than comparable members who listed only hard skills.

Leadership ability doesn’t guarantee a promotion. But it can help make you more competitive for the next one.

The better you become at leading people, the more career options you create for yourself.

Take ownership of your development

Your company may have given you the responsibility without giving you the development.

You’re expected to manage performance, conflict, morale, accountability, difficult personalities, and pressure from above—often without enough practical training, coaching, or support.

Some companies invest heavily in leadership development. Others spend most of that money at the executive level while frontline leaders are left to learn through trial and error. That may be frustrating, but waiting for your employer to fix the problem does not move your career forward.

You can wait for someone else to decide your development matters, or you can take control of it yourself.

Sound familiar?

These are the kinds of problems that shape how people see you as a leader.

“I was promoted over people who used to be my peers.”
“I don’t know how to hold someone accountable without creating drama.”
“I’m doing too much of the work myself.”
“My best performer is becoming difficult to work with.”
“I want a bigger role, but I’m not sure they see me as ready.”
“I keep getting good reviews, but I’m still not getting promoted.”
Lead for the job you want

Become the obvious choice for the next promotion.

Show your boss you can lead at the next level before the opportunity opens up.

There’s an old piece of career advice: dress for the job you want, not the job you have. Leadership works the same way. Before someone trusts you with more, they’re already forming an opinion about how you handle what’s in front of you now.

More people.
More pressure.
More difficult personalities.
More responsibility—and fewer problems you can simply kick upstairs.

The next promotion often goes to the person who already looks ready for it. Are you giving people above you that impression?

    Common Questions

    Answers before you start.

How much time does this take each week?

There's no set amount of time—it depends on how much better you want to become at leading people. That said, most members spend 2 to 4 hours a week building their skills and capacity to lead.

Is it live, self-paced, or both? What if I can't make the live sessions?

Both. Inside the community you'll have self-paced video lessons, downloadable tools and playbooks, plus live Q&A, live coaching, and Live Leadership Clinics. All live sessions are recorded, so members can catch up anytime.

What platform does this run on, and how do I access it?

Leadership Night School runs on Skool. You can join at skool.com/leadership-night-school.

    Who is this actually for?

Leadership Night School is for anyone who wants to become a better leader, but most of our content and members are new and frontline managers, and rising leaders who are ambitious about advancing their careers.

What if I'm not dealing with a "crisis" right now—is there still value?

Yes. There's always something new to learn about leadership, and as a member you'll often be the one offering support and perspective to someone else working through a challenge.

How is this different from a leadership book or a generic online course?

Leadership Night School lets you work through the actual leadership problems you're facing at work right now, build a real plan to handle them, and get ongoing support as you put that plan into action—not just consume theory.

Is Leadership Night School really free to join?

Yes. You can join the free community today, no credit card required. As we build out more live coaching access and deeper content, paid tiers will become available—current free members get the chance to lock in founding pricing before it opens to new members.

Is there a minimum commitment or contract?

No. There's no minimum commitment and no long-term contract, on the free tier or any paid tier that comes later.

Can I expense this through my employer's professional development budget?

Yes—many members do. We're happy to help you make the case, including providing any documentation your employer needs.

Who's actually running the clinics and answering questions?

You'll work directly with Jake Allen, founder of Leadership Night School, in the live clinics and coaching sessions.
